In keeping with the Karen Surgery’s emphasis on multidisciplinary team work, we also have a podiatrist, a nutritionist, a dietician, a speech therapist, and occupational therapist all consulting from the surgery and working in conjunction with the other health professionals.
FABIAN COLLIS
PODIATRIST
Fabian is a UK trained Specialised Podiatrist. He is HPC registered. He specialises in Biomechanics and the Diabetic Foot. Fabian has been practicing for over 10 years and is currently working for the Government relating to the Diabetic Foot and its complications. Fabian also specialises in wound and ulcer management. Fabian runs a large practice in Westlands and also operates a clinic at the Karen Surgery twice a month.

Victoria completed her training as a Dietitian in 2009 at the “Institut Paul Lambin”, Brussels, Belgium. She speaks and writes fluently in French, Spanish and English.
Victoria provides her clients with a variety of solutions which focus on their nutritional needs, health issues, physical activity, food habits and general lifestyle. Her approach is personalised and considers the client’s physical, mental, emotional, cultural, and social conditions when creating their nutritious plans, advice, and recipes.
Her areas of expertise have been mainly in outpatient and bariatric surgery (in and outpatient) with particular success with weight loss in overweight and obese adults. Victoria also has experience with pregnancy (normal, gestational diabetes), glucose intolerance, diabetes type 2, metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular diseases (high cholesterol, hypertension), gout, intestinal diseases (irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, Crohn’s disease), food allergies and intolerance (lactose intolerance), as well as eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia).
Victoria practiced initially in East Africa, where she opened her own company (NutriU Services Ltd); working with the Karen Surgery (Outpatient Clinic) and Power Vibe Studio (Paramedical center) as an outpatient RD. She then worked in Abu Dhabi, UAE. as an Executive Health Dietitian and Bariatric Dietitian at the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and in private practice for Perfect Balance Rehabilitation Center LLC as the Lead Dietitian.
She currently lives in Norway, and has built her business 100% online: thedietbroker.com, except for consulting one on one, in Kenya.

TOURAAN EVANS, BSc, RCOT, KOTA
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Touraan is a UK trained Occupational Therapist, who holds a BSc Hons degree in Occupational Therapy. Touraan has built up valuable experience providing Occupational Therapy in the private and NHS sector. From 2016 to date, Touraan has worked at the Evelina Childrens Hospital in London, providing community Occupational Therapy services to children aged 0-19yrs. Touraan has worked with children who have a wide range of difficulties. Touraan has worked in hospitals, clinics, homes, mainstream and special educational need schools. In 2020, Touraan returned to Kenya and started her own Paediatric Occupational Therapy practice- Totos Therapy. Touraan is hugely passionate about working with children and young people who experience any form of physical, intellectual and developmental difficulties.
Touraan is registered to practice in both Kenya and UK. She is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT), Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) and the Kenya Occupational Therapy Association (KOTA).
From Touraan's varied experience, she believes in the importance of integrating the techniques and skills of Occupational Therapy into everyday life in order to improve individual’s quality of life. Touraan aims to provide a service, which empowers parents and caregivers, as well as children, to succeed in their daily activities across home and school.

ASHLEY KIBITHA, RD, LD
REGISTERED DIETICIAN, LICENSED DIETICIAN, USA
Ashley is a registered dietitian with nearly 10 years working experience in healthcare services as a professional skilled in weight loss coaching, chronic disease prevention and management, allergies and general nutrition .
Ashley worked as a Supermarket Dietitian for Coborn’s Grocery Stores, a supermarket chain in the US Midwest. In this position, she offered nutrition education to the community including local business, schools, and gyms; performed cooking demonstrations; led grocery store tours; and provided personal consultations that included meal planning and personal shopping. Ashley chaired the Coborn’s Inc. employee wellness committee and corporate wellness program.
Ashley is an American, married to a Kenyan with three children and is pursuing her career as a Registered Dietitian consultant in Kenya.
